For reasons beyond our control and the venue, we must to postpone the show we had scheduled at Dos Ruedas club in Elche (Alicante, Spain) on Sat 17th Dec. The new date is Sat 10th March 2012. Everyone who bought tickets in advance contact with the venue to get your money back. Nevertheless, you could keep the tickets for the new date.

We apologize to everyone in Elche (Alicante, Spain) who's coming to our show at Dos Ruedas club. We are really sorry for delaying the gig, specially with so little time to inform about it.

For people who bought tickets in advance, you could ask to the venue for your money back. Anyway, the tickets are OK for the new date on Sat 10th March 2012. For all of those who got the free album with the ticket in advance and ask for the money back, it is no necessary to give back the CD. We want give it to you for free in compensation for any inconvenience caused.

After supporting The Subways in Barcelone and Madrid, Layabouts we have finished the week playing in London for the first time ever. The gig was at the historic venue Barfly and we couldn't imagine a better result: almost sold out and a crowd absolutely crazy.

We were looking forward to playing in London, where rock is like a soundtrack of natural life. It is like play football match at Wembley stadium or a basketball game at Madison Sq Garden... And we played at Barfly in Candem Town, one of the most mythical venues in London. On its stage have played bands like Coldplay, Muse, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, Arctic Monnkeys... As you can see, it's a required venue if you want to start a career in UK.

And there we were, with no idea about what to expect... When we were going to the stage to begin the show the promoter came into the dressing room and said: "hey guys, we are going to wait 15 minutes more... The qeue is turning the corner... ". Wow!!

We couldn't believe it, the venue was completely full! We could recognise Spanish people who live in London, some friends from Madrid and a lot of new English fans!!

Thank you very much for all your support in our first gig ever in London!

First reviews for Savage Behavior on UK press

We have could read the first reviews of Savage Behavior by the English media and it seems like is a good album. Musical at the Digital Fix gave us a 7/10 and says that Savage Behavior is "right up your street if you like unaduletered rock explosions".

Thrash Hits, one of the most view rock websites in UK, says: "You can count the number of notable Spanish rock bands on one hand so we’re always interested when one starts doing things over here. There’s a kind of International Shit Band Filter that means only good bands get this far so we figured Layabouts must be ok. We gave it a listen and we weren’t wrong!"

Layabouts will be supporting The Subways in Madrid and Barcelone. We are happy for playing with one of those bands which we like so much.

The Subways have invited us to open their show in Barcelone the forthcoming Nov 16th and in Madrid the day after. They will be two really rock night.

The gig in Barcelone will be at La [2] de Apolo club and in Madrid we will go back to Caracol, venue where we introduced "Savage Behavior" last april.

No doubt they will be two special nights if you like guitars and strong emotions in face of a stage. People from Barcelone and Madrid, we hope see you there!

After last show on August in Ibiza, we are ready to start September in the best way: double rock menu. Sept 2nd and 3rd we will be playing at Turbo Rock Festival with bands like Buzzcoks, Urge Overkill or The Bellrays, among others.

It has been a intensive summer full of emotions, playing on Benicassim Festival main stage, in face of 25,000 people at Arenal Sound or the last weekedn in Ibiza, and we are going to start September with another festival to be historic for Layabouts: Turbo Rock Festival.

There is no doubt that Turbo Rock is the most rock festival we have played so far and we are going to play with other bands which we admire a lot as Buzzcocks or Urge Overkill, among others.

It will be really exciting to be in the same bill with these bands but also with names like Nada Surf, Gigolo Aunts, Matthew Sweet or The Bellrays.

The date will be double: Benidorm (Fri 2nd) and Santander (Sat 3rd).
