In "…And they ran into the woods”, the second album of Layabouts, the band leaves the neon lights from the dancefloor to come into a darker land, into the woods. Layabouts take a look to its basic influences and shows its preference for the classic rock and the 70s american garage, while walks on the dark roads covered by bands like The Cure or Placebo. “…And they ran to the woods” was voted as 3rd 2009 Best National Album by MondoSonoro magazine's readers and “Corrupted scene behind the stage” was voted between the 10 Best Singles by the audience of Disco Grande radio show. The “Corrupted scene behind the stage” videoclip, directed Iván Mena Tinoco, is nominated in the oficcial section of Bornshorts 2010 Film Festival. Come in to the Layabouts universe. |
